Sacristan

A sacristan at St. Michael Catholic Community is a ministry that engages men and women who prepare the altar for liturgical celebrations.

The sacristan would need to be available primarily for one of the weekend Masses once or twice a month.

The sacristan prepares everything needed for the celebration of Mass including setting up the altar 20-30 minutes before Mass begins.

The sacristan is assigned to the Mass one usually attends.

Remember that a sacristan is a visible sign of love and reverence to our God and the community and a blessing for the parish.
